After comparing half a dozen wooden swing sets, Gorilla Playsets Homestead Heavy-Duty Wooden Swing Set offered the best combination of features. Pre-drilling was spot on for virtually all the deck support beams and uprights. Top notch quality, safe construction, and endless entertainment for our children.

The trapeze bar with gym rings is our seven-year-old daughter’s absolute favorite feature. The instructions suggest staging lumber by length beforehand, which saved us a ton of time. Our backyard is now the favorite hangout for all our kids’ school friends.

All hardware arrived organized in sealed blister packs with matching part numbers. The lower picnic bench is sturdy and lets the kids take a break in the shade. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

Our neighborhood kids now ask to come over to play on this model almost every weekend. The cedar was smooth to the touch with eased edges that prevent painful splinters. Take your time leveling the ground first and you will have a safe, wonderful play center.

The cedar naturally resists rot and insects, giving us peace of mind for the coming years. The hardware pack included extra washers and lag screws which was a thoughtful touch. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

The entry handles at the top of the ladder give little ones a secure handhold when transitioning. The ladder angle is gentle enough that our four-year-old climbed up with confidence on day one. Our backyard is now the favorite hangout for all our kids’ school friends.

The cedar timbers had a wonderful natural scent when we unpacked the boxes onto the grass. The upper fort enclosure has tall safety rails that give parents peace of mind from the kitchen window. Our backyard is now the favorite hangout for all our kids’ school friends.

The rock wall angle is challenging enough for our seven-year-old while safe for our four-year-old. We used a magnetic level and an impact driver which made securing the deck floor boards swift. Cannot recommend this playset enough for families with active kids. A wonderful backyard investment.

Everything from the slide to the swing brackets feels heavy-duty and commercial grade. We anchored each corner post into the turf using the included spiral screw anchors. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

The 3D interactive assembly instructions on our phone made tricky bracket steps simple to understand. The canopy fabric is heavy vinyl that repels rain and does not flap loudly in the wind. Four stars due to the lengthy bolt sorting process, but five stars for durability and kid fun.
