The cedar naturally resists rot and insects, giving us peace of mind for the coming years. The timber had no excessive checking or knots that compromised the structural integrity. Top notch quality, safe construction, and endless entertainment for our children.

The climbing rock wall holds are textured and easy for small sneakers to grip firmly. The instructions suggest staging lumber by length beforehand, which saved us a ton of time. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

The wood density is substantial, unlike cheaper pine swing sets sold at big box retail stores. The canopy fabric is heavy vinyl that repels rain and does not flap loudly in the wind. Four stars due to the lengthy bolt sorting process, but five stars for durability and kid fun.

The heavy-duty 4×4 upright posts provide a rock-solid foundation that does not wiggle. The upper fort enclosure has tall safety rails that give parents peace of mind from the kitchen window. Seeing our kids playing outside together for hours every day makes this worth every single cent.

The rock wall angle is challenging enough for our seven-year-old while safe for our four-year-old. We anchored each corner post into the turf using the included spiral screw anchors. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

Assembly was straightforward thanks to the clearly stamped board numbers on the lumber ends. We used a magnetic level and an impact driver which made securing the deck floor boards swift. Our backyard is now the favorite hangout for all our kids’ school friends.

The cedar timbers had a wonderful natural scent when we unpacked the boxes onto the grass. The timber had no excessive checking or knots that compromised the structural integrity. Top notch quality, safe construction, and endless entertainment for our children.

Built this playset over a long weekend with my brother, and the structural rigidity is exceptional. The safety handles on the ladder and slide entrance are thick and easy for small hands to grasp. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

The chalkboard wall inside the upper fort has been covered in colorful drawings all month. The climbing wall grips have two mounting screws each so they never spin or rotate loose. Plan for a full weekend with two capable adults to build, but the final result is rock solid.

Our three kids have spent every single sunny afternoon climbing and swinging on Gorilla Playsets Chateau Heavy-Duty Wooden Swing Set. The ladder angle is gentle enough that our four-year-old climbed up with confidence on day one. Our backyard is now the favorite hangout for all our kids’ school friends.
