Assembly was straightforward thanks to the clearly stamped board numbers on the lumber ends. We anchored each corner post into the turf using the included spiral screw anchors. Cannot recommend this playset enough for families with active kids. A wonderful backyard investment.

The clubhouse fort stays dry during summer showers so the kids can keep playing. The pre-stained cedar has a rich warm tone that complements our backyard landscape. Take your time leveling the ground first and you will have a safe, wonderful play center.

We decided on Backyard Discovery Lightning Ridge Heavy-Duty Wooden Swing Set for our children’s birthday and it has kept them playing outside every single afternoon. The safety handles on the ladder and slide entrance are thick and easy for small hands to grasp. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

Our neighborhood kids now ask to come over to play on this model almost every weekend. We anchored each corner post into the turf using the included spiral screw anchors. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

A wonderful backyard playset that provides endless healthy outdoor exercise. Even when two older kids are swinging high simultaneously, the main tower remains stationary. Five stars. Extremely sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last through childhood.

The rock wall angle is challenging enough for our seven-year-old while safe for our four-year-old. The climbing wall grips have two mounting screws each so they never spin or rotate loose. Seeing our kids playing outside together for hours every day makes this worth every single cent.

The wood density is substantial, unlike cheaper pine swing sets sold at big box retail stores. The slide material stays surprisingly cool in sunlight compared to older plastic models. Take your time leveling the ground first and you will have a safe, wonderful play center. Has been performing reliably every week.

The green powder-coated swing chains have a soft rubber coating that keeps little fingers safe. The upper fort enclosure has tall safety rails that give parents peace of mind from the kitchen window. Plan for a full weekend with two capable adults to build, but the final result is rock solid.

The heavy-duty 4×4 upright posts provide a rock-solid foundation that does not wiggle. The cedar was smooth to the touch with eased edges that prevent painful splinters. Cannot recommend this playset enough for families with active kids. A wonderful backyard investment.

The 3D interactive assembly instructions on our phone made tricky bracket steps simple to understand. The canopy fabric is heavy vinyl that repels rain and does not flap loudly in the wind. Seeing our kids playing outside together for hours every day makes this worth every single cent.
